Coming from the side they seem to crash from it IS signed...
From the other side it's after a series of fairly sharp bends.
Also just because it's a national speed limit does not mean it's safe to do 60....

we've an old stone bridge just by us, with sharp bends either side. It's been badly hit once while we've been here, but i fear if we complain about the weight limit not being observed (daily milk tanker, for a start) they'll probably replace it with an ugly concrete thing as happened nearby...
