do other gardeners have things they struggle to grow? for me it is lemons and rosemary which is so annoying because they’re 2 of my favourite things!! yesterday i saw a pic of our old house in melb and the lemon tree i planted which never grew lemons for me is FLOURISHING 🙃 - ThreadSky

Rosemary no trouble over here when I have grown it. I used to grow at least 70 + types of herb plant over our side of the Tiers.....till 2019. Ended our Cygnet Market stall then. Lemon & lime.....on their 3rd and final move...top orchard....lemon flowering....lime not growing. Good luck....

That it is tricky.....yet in 81 I went citrus picking out past Kingaroy back of Mundubbera Qld......27 frosts in a row.....in June.....fruit galore....massive trees....

Our rosemary is alive but growing at a snails pace. We've fed it, checked the pH, mulched etc etc. it looks fine but just doesn't grow. I think being at 300m in sth Tas is just too cold too much of the time

My poor lemon hangs on despite scale, neglect and being eaten by sheep and goats regularly. I’ve pampered it with feeding and mulch this year and worried that might tip it over the edge.

My prolific 15 year old lemon tree at our old house died when the fence & shed went up in flames. I could not get a lemon tree to take off after that, no matter what I did.

Lemons I struggle with because I want to avoid pesticides and every insect on Earth wants to eat them, but rosemary grows like a pest around here, don't have to do a thing.

I left behind two plants that had never flourished or flowered for me. A yellow clivea and an (allegedly) pink epiphyllum.
Every year since the friend I left them with sends me photos of the multitudes of beautiful flowers. Bitch.
