This wouldn't really make a lot of sense considering trans women have roughly stable estrogen levels throughout the month, unlike cisgender women who have cycles.

That said, I absolutely have periods every month at the same time, so I can confirm lol.

Yup. I was a disbeliever till I started tracking moods… an eventually more. 23 days, clockwork. Over a year of data. When I started prog, it threw things off for a cycle, and injections made the rough parts milder.

But it’s not *just* negative symptoms either. There’s a few cyclic positives too.

Out of curiosity, do you think cycling prog could trigger it? I was talking to @trans.bsky.social about this recently. Last time I had what I thought was really bad PMS coincided with the low dose in my prog cycle

iirc dramatic shifts between prog levels can cause PMS like symptoms.

example: cycling from 0mg-100mg seems to be rougher than 100mg-200mg if that makes sense.
