As an island nation, Australia should have a naval heavy armed forces. I'll assume it is, but it should be looking at bolstering it. The same can be said here in Canada.

I see Canada's population is about 40,000 million and ours is 27 million. I am guessing that as Canada now has to seriously plan for being invaded by America... I can't believe this is a serious discussion. Canada will be looking to Ukraine for advice.

Militarily, & considering our population & tax base, I would go with land/ sea Drones, Himars-or the British version (MLRS) & GMLRS/Extended Range GMLRS missiles, as well as conventional long range missiles & fighter jets. It gives us more bang for our buck & Ukraine has proven their effectiveness.
