Dems and the MSM missing Biden’s decline was willful ignorance. I remember seeing him speak at the APEC summit in late 23 and realized he couldn’t run an effective campaign. Both his decline and the border mess were examples of the left passing off reality as just right wing talking points.

Presumably, unless one entertains conspiracy theorists about someone wanting him to fail prior to the convention. There were plenty of undoctored videos showing him appearing to be in a fog by that point, including the APEC summit, so I can’t fathom how they could think the debate would go well.

From my perspective the media was wrong in late 2022 to be so worried about recession heading into 2023 and the economic/market performance last year was reasonable. Things look much more unbalanced and potentially fragile/correlated heading into 2025.

It's very difficult to predict how mass decisions will evolve, which is one reason why track records don't predict trading success, for example.
