It all starts with what you tell yourself - you can do it! I attempted to quit many times and told everyone I was going to quit smoking. Nothing changed for me until I changed the way I spoke about it - I began calling myself a nonsmoker! I'm 13 years cigarette free now.

Good luck LouLou, you can do it. I did after 30 odd years and have never looked back. Steel yourself for the first few months, and you’ll be right. Maybe compensate by drinking more. 👌🤣

Good luck..a friend put the money she would have spent on cigarettes in a pot each day. She couldn't believe how much money she had after a couple of weeks. It spurred her on to keep going.

Are you going 'cold turkey'? I smoked for 40 years, moved onto tapes via NHS cessation programme, that was nearly 3 years ago, not had one cig since, feel so much better, still vaping but honestly the adjustment isn't that difficult providing of course you really want to quit. Good luck Lou
