casual. about a serious issue. granted, it might be intentional and it just didn't land well; attempt and failure. they didn't feel so insensitive per se. however. when i say aiming is politically bad, i mean it. it is not insensitive, it's legit red scare 101. it's trite, it's borderline evil.

role quests aside though, as much as i said 'I'd rather a failure than an excuse', that doesn't mean that if they keep reiterating the same failure that's excusable. if it's bad, they better fix it, period. you can't be perfect, but you can damn well improve, yknow? and apologize, if need be. done.

i mean it's not okay. it's bad. i think i said it's bad like... 5 times. but they can do better, and they should. and either i believe they can do better and demand that, or i think they can't. but if i thought they can't, then I'd stop playing entirely, 'cause it's a subscription game.

like there's making an honest mistake but what the writers have done with dawntrail is repeat offence after repeat offence. there's nothing honest or forgivable about it it goes beyond ignorance and becomes willful at that point when they continue to perpetuate the same problematic themes in patches
