role quests aside though, as much as i said 'I'd rather a failure than an excuse', that doesn't mean that if they keep reiterating the same failure that's excusable. if it's bad, they better fix it, period. you can't be perfect, but you can damn well improve, yknow? and apologize, if need be. done.
