@leahfromsd.bsky.social I tried my hand at writing while having Escape From New York on in the background last night. I basically just watched the movie. Now trying it with Evil Dead 2. This might be a strategy I have to dump.

When they re-released for the 20th or 25th anniversary, I saw it and was dying to hear the surround mix. When that flying car from the opening came from the rear speakers into the fronts, I almost cried!!
