My mother spent all day at the SSA, including being on hold for 3 hours before she trekked to the office with her oxygen tank. All she needed was her statement for her taxes. I found out too late and then helped her online. But what about our folks with no internet or kids available?

I actually just spoke with that office, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They’re trying to move staff around and get more help into customer service. This is what I was told. I also asked for my money back, but they said no!

As studio manager to commercial photo biz we once got a new Mac that wldn’t turn on. Called Support and got no joy. A friend sent me Steve Jobs email and sending him a brief note of how many Macs we had in the studio, immediately, like slam bam, the issue got resolved post haste. Go to the top.
