iTunes-like pricing ($1 per song/paper) would have been good a decade ago, but maybe the 2030 approach will be a monthly subscription to all papers, Spotify for science.

It will suck, and academic publishing (just like music) will still be a multi-$bn industry that screws its content providers 😒
