11. Rolling Thunder.
I decided to give this game a more serious try while doing some research for a potential future project, and it's a fine game but I have almost nothing to say about it. It's about as barebones as a run and gun arcade game can get. A fun little distraction, but not much else.

This was a neat side story. I enjoyed the extra character moments, the music was phenomenal, and I think repurposing unused content from the base game is cool. However, it's never really more than just a bonus, and it's nowhere near the base games level.
I’ve tried on several occasions to get into this game, but it never really clicked for me. Until now, where I realized I was the problem. I stopped treating the game like a snappy platformer, and more like an adventure. While it’s still not my favorite game, I had a ton of fun!
Not my favorite Shmup, but I really do like the omnidirectional aiming gimmick, the game has a solid difficulty curve, and while I think it could've done with one or two more ships to pick from, the options present are all fun. Yet another solid shmup to waste time with.
An awesome love letter to SEGA's arcade racing legacy made by Sumo Digital, I really enjoy this one. I love the visuals, the feel of driving, and the variety of tracks and cars. Definitely worth checking out if you love the classic SEGA racers like Virtua Racing or Daytona USA.
Where do I begin? Is this a perfect game? No, definitely not, but god it has touched my soul and my core in ways I didn't think were possible. The story, characters, gameplay, world, all are 10/10. One of my favorite games ever now. peak. Please play it, I beg of you.
This was a great expansion for XB2. The combat used the same core ideas to form something wholly new and interesting, the characters were well done and engaging, the world was fun, and my god that ending was powerful. Good addition to the series!
