“Join CBC next Sunday when they discuss CHILD ABDUCTION: A CONVERSATION.
Sure it’s illegal and immoral, but join hosts as they ignore that and discuss the pros and cons of abduction in a stimulating intellectual conversation.”
Obviously /sarc. Shame on the CBC for normalizing an act of war.

This is a disgusting lapse in judgement by @brodiefenlon.bsky.social and @ianhanomansing.bsky.social, two people I’ve otherwise long respected.
Or a hat.
That’s my most charitable theory (it’s also not very charitable). I won’t tune in, but I guess (non-pundit) American opinions might be interesting.
They should be DEFUNDED
Unless they can be fixed... But this would require an examination of how they ACTIVELY SUPPRESSED what was happening. It was not an issue of money, only not reporting.
