Wife is from the city but has also lived in the shire - the two are worlds apart & neither apparently want to be connected with the other

The countryside is lovely especially to the north (Bradgate Park) & to the east towards Melton & Belvoir (pronounced “Beever”)

But I’ve grown to love Leicester
