Well at least all the great ones are leaving and not having to see this f***** up mess that's being left behind like to complete and total destruction of not just our country but our contributions to the world that were actually good
My band played at the White Hare Show Lounge in Calumet City during the early 70s. We played the opening set and Sam and Dave played nonstop for the next two hours. I got to sit at the bar and watch for a change. High energy and great music.
Right now watching Tapeheads from 1988 starring John Cusack, Tim Robbins, and featuring Sam and the great Junior Walker as the Diamond Brothers AKA The Swanky Modes. My silly guilty pleasure.
Saw him a few years ago when he was inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame. He (along with some other folks) performed with Justin Timberlake. It was great. RIP Mr. Moore.
