I've been playing through SA2 again to try and get a second opinion and was having a ton of fun trying to get all the A-Ranks!! Found out tonight that I have to do it 5 times in the same level and I think my ass might not touch this thing again LOLL

the ranking system is lowkey one of SA2's greatest triumphs, turns out actually forcing you to get good at the game make you appreciate the game more!

I like most of the game.
My chao Gerg wrecked the competition, and I love the Emerald Hunt levels.
However the Tails levels, (ESPECIALLY Eternal Engine) have the most dickish level design that Eggman's levels thankfully don't share.

I mean it's pretty easy once you get a feel for the radar, since most of the stages are designed where you have pretty easy access to most of the emerald locations from about every point in the level.

I do think that changing the radar to only track the emeralds in order is a downgrade from adventure 1
