History offers critical lessons, so consider this: a mere nine months before the invasion, in May 1920, Soviet Russia formally recognized Georgia’s independence, only to betray that recognition and occupy the country less than a year later. 3/6

Stalin starved 3.5 million Ukrainians between 1932 and 1933 shortly after. The Holodomor! I was just looking at it today thinking how Stalinistic this feels to me right now!
