Working on an aria for my opera THIS IS JANE with composer Angela Elizabeth Slater. It's about the underground abortion service that ran in Chicago prior to Roe. Jane--a collective of women, men, and I'm certain some nb folks--were heroes. Can't wait to have voices raised in song for them.
