While I admit that I'm leaning into the smart-assery of making certain points, I really don't mean to hurt anybody with my posts. I'm somewhat worried for the folks who are so determined to remain willfully ignorant of crypto that they'd rather block than engage. They are NGMI.
I believe crypto mass adoption is inevitable, as is the dollar losing status as the world reserve currency. In this future, folks who haven't bothered to learn about blockchain will have a very hard time understanding the world ... and their fiat assets will be debased.
The question is how long this will take and what they'll do as a reaction. Will they just hate post here? Or will some adapt to the new reality? It will be interesting to see how it plays out. 🍿
In the no-coiner fantasy (as I understand it), crypto will crash and go away. Or fade into the background as a thing used only for crime and gambling. It's going to become increasingly harder to maintain this fantasy very soon.
Crypto too weird for me and Sam Friedman scammed a billion via crypto and went to prison for it. US dollar is still the world reserve currency and it has value in Yemen and Togo and Bhutan and Miami and Ottawa.
The other version of the Stories No-Coiners Tell is that it's a conspiracy to overthrow the dollar. This is more accurate, though unfairly blames crypto for the inevitable fall of the dollar. It relies on the false belief that the dollar would've remained the reserve currency if not for crypto.
