The amount of political tweets being pushed on me by the algorithm and the frankly awful people in the comments. I like having political discussions and don't mind dissenting opinions but it was getting to be way too often with way too many awful takes.

The change to blocks sealed that site’s fate for me.

I don’t want to be seeing posts from former friends who have me blocked, or allow people I blocked to see what I’m up to.

I made this account months ago, was starting to lock in a few weeks ago, and now I've logged off Twitter because I need to Lock In on various things and the Twitter doomscroll took up too much time

During my Final Scroll, a white supremacist ad popped up and that was the sign to log out.
