My kids are both social workers. They fight for people and help them every day. They know when to step back for self-care, since that's such emotionally draining work. I'm so proud of them. (My ex talks shit about their jobs because they make only $40k-45k/yr.) I think I did okay as a mom.

So true. Despite this I worry how many daughters are one bad experience away from having their confidence shattered. But speak up, stay strong, and know your worth…I effin hate our mysoginistic societies….
