I also appreciate a good portable charger, and people look at me like I'm an alien when I say that. But, it's something simple, lightweight and useful that just works, what’s not to appreciate there?

I love the pod and this episode in particular. I have a learning disability & am raising 2 kids w/learning disabilities. Tech has made so many things possible for us that wouldn't be otherwise. But, it has a dark side I hate so much. Both sides need to be talked about and you're doing that well.

I'm reading The Salmon of Doubt, a posthumous collection of Douglas Adams's writings (You know, Hitchhiker's Guide). He sensibly died a few months before 9/11 in the last days of the world seeming sane and optimistic. He did a lot of future-positive tech writing back then; it makes quaint reading.
