Sometimes, especially in something connected like Star Wars characters, where there is a galaxy of events that are constantly changing.

I don't change things per say. But I deliberately on write the bare minimun needed to explain the current story. That leaves lots of blank spaces in their story to fill in with other details if I need to.

I'll often change the way in which an event might come about and the specifics about what happens, but the key moments tend to stay pretty intact! Sometimes I'll shuffle the timing/order as well as i figure out the story around them

Oh hell yeah. Constantly. As far as I'm concerned until I publish the page of the comic where it happens, it's never set in stone. I'm always learning a bit more about them as I go along.

I had to change their story so they fit the sw canon better 😔 I wish I didn't care but my brain won't let me be in peace if they don't fit canon
