one of my 1st grade students (perm sub at this school part-time) asked me yesterday "who is your favorite pop singer... Bruce Springsteen?" and I said "you know who that is??" She gave me a *duh* look so I said "actually for pop definitely Britney Spears. do you know that is?" she says "...no..." 😭😭
