There are two categories of GOP politicians:
1. Those who wholly endorse Trump and want to dismantle our republic, and
2. Those who are opposed to Trump but are scared for their own survival.
So I agree it is imperative to welcome and support those in category 2, while fighting those in category 1.

I share the desire for accountability. I also want the lawless destruction to stop. We don't need to need to vote for them, but it's important to encourage & welcome GOP when they stand up to DT. If just a few GOP in Congress reject Trump we can reduce the damage. 20 gets us to impeach + removal.

Agreed. This, while not exactly an "oh, I fucked up" moment, we need to welcome these folks back to sanity. This is how the opposition gains strength. People need to be given the grace to find out for themselves what Trump is really doing.
