I loved the stereoscopic 3D effect on the 3DS and always had it turned on. FYI, with a homebrewed 3DS you can play Virtual Boy games in 3D!

I didn't know that the 3D capabilities worked with the Virtual Boy, the only game I've tried so far is Pokemon Red but it doesn't do anything with the 3D active.

@chrizz.bsky.social has a lot of good recommendations! I'd also check to see if they have any Final Fantasy games(specifically VI), Fire Emblem has a pretty solid collection, Mario Golf was really fun haha, Donkey Kong Country, Tactics Ogre. You've got a lot of games to go through haha!
