My one bg3 hot take, since I see a few people talking about it, is that the devs didn't commit to keeping Lae'zel mean and that just started my negative view of them. Then there's the hyper focus on giving Astarion content while he already had the most, while Wyll was ignored. Killed the game for me

But he has so much potential and they just...kind of waste it.
Like they have a big ass cast to work with. And like I get it, Astarion his popular, but give the rest of the party that level of attention and care for crying out loud.

the game barely allows for “DnD” esque moments like that anyway which is a shame bc the system they are using should reward creative thinking like that
