Local shelters and rescue groups need help. Just research the group. If you cannot give money, blankets, food are often appreciated.

With ICE raids that will happen, more animals are probably going to end up on the street or in shelters. Even skipping a Starbucks and giving that money can help.

Neither do I. I am not financially able to give a lot, but I give my time to rescues by walking pups,socializing with cats, getting the word out as much as I can.

Well I do see that they spend less than 3% on taking care of animals so one can presume that one way or the other animals are dying under their watch. Just like PETA. Thank you for putting out out the info cause I would not have figured to look into this.

ASPCA and PETA have been bad for years. They’ll happily use images of abused animals to take money from you but they won’t actually take care of these animals. They’ll euthanize them and pocket the profits.

I read an article on ASPCA a while back. The head guy makes over seven figures a year. Many of the workers make over six figures. They spend more money on fundraising than they do actually helping animals.

I'm not here to defend the ASPCA, but it is important to always include vetted sources especially (IMO) when accusing an animal rescue of wrongdoing.

I am probably a bit bias against the ASPCA also. When my elderly mother was alive she wrote a check to donate to them thinking it was a one time deal. They called and harassed her for a long time wanting to know where their monthly payment was.
