As of a few minutes ago, the Capitol switchboard is busy, as is Dick Durbin's Chicago number. I did reach someone in Tammy Duckworth's office. The person I spoke to offered that I look for press releases. Those sound to me like the equivalent of "thoughts and prayers."

I emailed mine and asked for a response on why they voted 'yes', and what they and their colleagues are now going to do about it. I also emailed a thank you to my congressperson who did the right thing by voting 'no'. It's important to be thanking those who are doing the right thing.
