The met catalogue is pretty nice!

Try https://archive.org. go under texts, they have a whole library with tags, so you should be able to find stuff in historical fashion

a couple of people suggested museums! why did i not think of this--cleveland has a good collection too i think

New York Museum of Natural History has pics of a bunch of medieval armor!

Was about to say this! I know some museums have photos of their armor sets on their websites, so you can peruse a few of them!
