I’ve spent nearly 30 years working in the oil industry, and there is enough slack in the system to accommodate bumps such as a one day boycott of purchasing. The only ones that hurt is the independent retailers who employ people who don’t generate any revenue those days.
it's not about "accommodating bumps" it's about the public mobilizing & sending a clear message across all sectors
if the economy as a whole wasn't depending on big oil I would be advocating a permanent, long term blockade. maybe the independent retailers can give the criminals at the top a message
