Yeah, deffo going with your thought - it seems the kindest (and the pile is so neat it doesn’t say fly tipping to me). And I’ve seen one of the couches further down the street.
Thing is, lol, it’s the middle of a park surrounded by a low fence one needs to step over.
[The trolleys could be returned, the bags put in bins, etc, other stuff on Freecycle, etc. Still so curious about how that pile was made, by whom, and for what purpose...
... I liked the idea of its being ready for a trailer - hoping that's why. But then why in the middle of a park, metres from a kids' play area, and far further that that from the pavement, w/ park surrounded by a low chain fence.]
If it's tidying up the pavements, huzzah! But like this?
We don’t really have a proper inorganic collection. It would be so helpful if we did! In my area we run a Skip day once a year - hire big skips and invite the neighbourhood to come drop stuff off. It’s very popular!

I didn’t touch it as didn’t want to disrupt a potential plan (also my bins are full from the space I help maintain.)
[I have also seen stuff put out on the pavement that is then foraged over time, which is awesome.]
There's also Freecycle, etc.
And if nothing else, um, there's the Tip :)
I've not seen a pile like this before, esp so neat, hence asking :)
