My wife and I have been discussing this. We'll expand our garden and stock up on pantry items. Most importantly, we will take care of friends and family.
Love it! Wish I had room for a garden. Not that I'm panicking, but I just talked to my 83 year old mom about maybe selling her house and moving in with me. She's considering it.
Not sure what you use your computer for, but I just had to replace mine. I got a Chromebook for $140 and love it! You can't load any software on it, but I don't have a need for that. Have fun with your new toy!
It probably varies by your insurance coverage. I’m on Humana Medicare and I can get up to three months at a time of most medicines. So I’m at least going to do that much before he takes office
Have you ever heard about Mark Cuban's https://costplusdrugs.com/? I've only checked it out a little bit, but may be something you want be aware of. From what I understand, it gaining traction and growing.
Naw. My faith is in the system and my negibors. They are criminals but im hoping at some point they remember America... "out of many come one." (That doesnt mean Cuck Cult Donaldites guys?)
Um. Um, um! They are eating my pets. They have raped me. They steal from my home before they shop... thing is, its probably just one dude that they all fear because is is Cylocops KKK and his wife likes kissing the taste of my two wives he seduced... weird is still the Republican thing.
Yeah, I need to talk to my daughter about that. She's a lesbian but requires birth control to treat a reproductive issue. I'm certain none of the dumb f*ucks about to take over think or care about those situations. SMH.
I've been buying a little extra of pantry staples, mostly canned vegetables and other non-perishable ingredients for meals. I usually do this to some extent for the winter months, but keeping in mind that shortages and higher prices might be hitting us when the FELON takes over, I might continue.
I'm caregiver for my brother with Intellectual Disability who needs pureed food. I'm always cooking and must have ingredients on hand. He can't eat many simple things like sandwiches, etc. which would make it easier. So I keep lot of ingredients at the ready, and it might be good to look into this.
I've never done canning or vacuum seal canning. May be an option for you, though! I know my vacuum sealer will seal liquids in a bag. Could be an option to make a batch of pureed food and freeze some.
I do cook in batches, then puree and portion in snack bags and freeze. I used to grow mostly tomatoes and I've canned lots of them and jams, but can't anymore. I really miss that. Freezing is a little more limited, but suffices. I really like the thought of vacuum sealing dried ingredients.
I will have conversations with my daughter and daughter n law both of child bearing age. One lives in Washington State, still blue and one in Michigan, now Red. All medicine for an unwanted pregnancy will be purchased. I would prefer vasectomy, but men chose abortion for wives over their balls cut.
disclaimer: Not American, but if I was I'd be stocking up on dried and canned goods, cheap clothing, coffee(!), medicines, and anything that a 3rd world country would consider luxury items.
anything that is imported and cheap, non perishable foods.
Blankets- utilities are going to get real spendy
We have 3 beds of wood, the other 5 are metal, and cheaper than the price of lumber and will not decompose like wood. Just a thought. We got them on HomeDepot, Lowe's and Amazon. Price comparison!
We were worried they would retain heat, being in the Phoenix area. Nope! No problem! We live on a golf course fairway, and have ground squirrels and voles. We've put chicken wire on the bottoms, after losing a lot of veggies to them...imagine the gophers on Caddy Shack...
Winx Health, the seller of emergency contraception, saw a 966% spike in sales in the 60 hours following the election compared with the week before, and sales of "value packs" of Restart, which contained four doses instead of one, were up over 7,000 percent in the past week.
