We are looking much better lately, especially in midfield. Outplayed Hull second half, and most of Plymouth match and Preston, too.
We have struggled to score, especially at home. Now we have last seasons top scorer Bishop back, I am hopeful. But it is a very tough league. Big gulf from League 1.

A Scot here (remember Ian Porterfield and so many other Scots who graced the old Roker Park). Always had a soft spot for Sunderland. My best mate, now sadly departed was a Sunderland fanatic - his Dad being on the gate for decades so I’ve always followed your fortunes. It’s going well this season
