Almost got away with it despite everything- but having 2 holding mids against side who’ve just lost 5-0 & have somehow gained their 4th away point was baffling to say the least - first major misstep, in fairness- but a massively costly one.

Think that's his point. He need options from the start as there's a chance he might need to start him at some point. I absolutely hope not because he looks miles of it. Apart for 5-10 yard passes to the CBs, he's good at that 🙄

It’s the first time I’ve thought RLB got it wrong today. Had hoped we’d go 442 and try and nab early goals. Plymouth seemed happy to sit in with Samed knocking the ball left to right.

Had no choice. We had completely lost control of the game, were giving the ball away constantly and they were launching a box bombardment.
He tried to help up the team knowing we'd be defending for the last 10 minutes regardless of what subs he made.

Samed can’t play in same midfield as Dan Neil. Too similar and too much sideways and backwards passing. We lacked creativity. Was the same against stoke in the cup

Samed can't start at all I think as he isn't forward thinking. I have no problem with Neil in an advanced role if our holding mid plays it forward. Neil probably one of our better players on the ball today.

Yeah I’d agree. Neil massively underrated but I just think Neil comes deep to collect but Samed is there already but rather than go forward like Neil, he goes sideways or back. Doesn’t run forward with the ball at his feet
