Midland Library Council dissolved by County Commissioners. The library advisory council protected the librarians from the front line of Home town Christo fascists who were threatening to ban books or fire our librarians.

I lived in Texas for 5 years back in the 60's and 70's and it looks like it's sinking to new lows. It's happening in Iowa and Florida as well. Good luck.
