I used to watch Craig back when Screwattack ran videogame vault. When he left Screwattack I lost track of him for a good while, and then he popped up in my feed again with all the anti-woke BS.

At this point, running an anti-woke podcast is unemployed celebrity behaviour.

Did a 30-minute dive and this whole award show is bizarre. People who voted were expected to pay 30$ to vote, but the VOD emphasizes it is the "people's vote".

In addition, almost half of the awards are just democratized pot-shots at games and people labeled "woke"

Also - "Nightmare Kart", a game developed by a trans woman, was nominated and awarded for best Racer. Im glad Lilith's game is receiving attention and praise, but it feels strangely tone-deaf. It gives the indication that unless grummz or asmongold whine about a """problem""" it doesnt exist.

That's the whole movement in a nutshell. None of them are actually informed about the things they're mad about, they're just following the popular voices in the topic. So much of the anti-woke movement is in that bucket - it's why do many of them struggle to define what 'woke' even means.
