The armed forces is a large organisation and consequently contains all sorts of people. I have no doubt that some of that number are ride or die Trumpers. I don't have any reason to think that's a majority, and losing legitimacy makes everything harder. Agreed though that hopefully we never find out

When I joined the army in 2002 it was by far the most racially diverse organization I had ever been a part of, and it's been ahead of the rest of the country on integration since 1948 (when Truman ordered the armed forces to be desegregated)

I honestly don't know. It's been a long time and I was active duty during a weird time too, 2002-07. There are a lot of good people in the military but plenty of bad ones too, true believers.

These judges are ruling on law and constitutional matters not defying Trump. Trump is defying the law and the Constitution. At some point the courts must enforce their orders. Our constitution must prevail and it's just a question of forcing Trump to comply and what that's going to take to do that?
