Like dude, the same thing that makes the army listen to you (constitutional legitimacy) is what gives the courts the authority you deride. You can't break one without breaking the other
If he gets troops to the border, will they turn on peaceful protesters (and their supporters, offline and online) if he asks them, too? Then liberals ("enemies")?
