I think what this shows is that most people aren't actually anti-vax, they're just extremely obstinate about being asked to do anything even slightly inconvenient when they don't see an immediate benefit for themselves

It's so weird. As long as you word things in a way that make it seem like one will personally benefit, you COULD get americans to agree to communism if you wanted to. But call it that and they go berserk. The human instinct to collaborate is still in there, just hamstrung by american exceptionalism.
