6 weeks! I'm so jealous. I did 3 weeks in April for cherry blossom season this year. Did Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Fuji and Tokyo.. and some other places inbetween. I adore Kyoto and Hiroshima. I'd recommend them to ANYONE!

Yes I went all those places too! Would’ve liked to see a bit more in Kyoto, it has so many amazing temples but we hardly saw any there. Fuji was a highlight, got so lucky with the weather. I literally have thousands of pictures to go through 😂

I found travelling around Kyoto hard because the underground system not being as big as Osaka or Tokyo. And we went during cherry blossoms so the buses were super super busy :(

We unfortunately didn’t get the best weather with Fuji :( there was a pesky cloud that wouldn’t leave 🤣

Yeah we found that too. Definitely got the most steps in Kyoto 😅 if you haven’t already been I would highly recommend Kanazawa and Takayama! Amazing food!

I’ve never been to Kanazawa or takayama, but I’ll definitely add them to the list.
