I definitely think social media makes us skim over detail.
Photographs shared hold so much more than what’s shown in the compressed files you see, where you often look for a second and move on.

Occasional zoom-crops: could they become a thing? 🔍
Until then, I can view a slightly crisper image by opening the post in a web browser (even on phone).
I💙 BSky mobile app, but it compresses JPEGs more :-\

How to view a slightly crisper image, by opening a post in a web browser, on an Android phone:
From viewing the post in the BSky app:
1) bottom of post: click the 'out tray' Sharing icon (next after the Like button)
2) in the popup sharing panel: click your web browser's app icon
