There is no universe in which we can stop *every single person on our side* from making stupid and ill-advised posts.
The problem is the media and online environment that permits GOP fascists to portray a single post from one random weirdo as representative of mainstream liberal/left views.

The problem is that the opposing side can effectively amplify any random post to smear nearly half the country, but political parties can’t make people stop posting.

Starting to see it, during the DNC media passes were given to some podcast hosts, some of who were also party activists.
That latter category is literally just "billionaires."
Fox News: "Liberals make new demands to police your food and your language."
CNN, NBC, CBS run with it.
NY Times: "Even in deep red Ohio, the democrats embrace illiberal attacks on free speech."
Someone on their side with lots of followers says "Ha! What a moron. Believes the sky is blue. What an idiot!"
Very quickly, more people say "the sky is not blue."
Soon, no one believes the sky is blue.
It's a classic pattern. Works well.
How to break the pattern?

Dems try to and the nuts stay home or vote Stein and call everyone not AOC a fascist
People with no power in the democratic orbit: Chuck Schumer, Hakim, Jeffries, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris
They failed.
Turn it all over, new DNC chair, House and Senate minority leaders.
