Hank says that the CT can be used as a battery backup, BUT also says he doesn't expect to see many CT buyers here. He gave factual information, because you know as soon as he didn't that someone would come whining about it being left off. (That person should GTFO but I understand Hank's position.)
Consider letting that burst of curiosity last a bit longer.

It is referring to bidirectional connection capability - both charging input and providing electricity output. Not all EVs can do that. Same for chargers. Not all chargers support it.
