I disagree. First Jason Crow is an amazing member of congress and a real leader. Second, if you're not on an oversigh committee than you don't focus on investigations. Third, if you want to work across the aisle to get something done to protect and help Americans, then you focus on that.1/2

He said he doesn't "talk" about it. That doesn't mean he doesn't "do" it. In fact, Crow is an excellent representative. He has played instrumental roles in numerous effective committee oversight activities.

And an aside here, I really wish anytime a public official says "I don't think the American people x, y or z" the reporter immediately follows up with "do you have some data to share with us for that opinion? How do you know that to be true?"

Generous read (not feeling generous) is that he means he's not asked about this stuff by his constituents. It's kinda obvious that tying together the "meat and potato" issues folks back home do care about with the need for oversight of the run amok administration is his job.
