Maybe try and set out some strict protocols or something? Ie "I'm doing this adopt, I will only contact you through these means that are hard to fake? Might not work but would hopefully make the adopt seem like a hard target?

Yeah that’s what i’ve seen too. Adopt, auction, raffle, then impersonation comes in. Would hate to see that creators have to continue to censor these words even after moving here

Something that could help make sure you are the "real" one is to get yourself a domain name to be your handle and maybe placeholder website with com info and all.

That way, people won't be able to copy your username too closely and that could act as verification.

Something I've seen is people saying they don't end auctions/adopts/etc. early and mentioning they have a ton of impersonators so be wary. Otherwise there's not much you can do besides posting about them when they crop up, blocking, and reporting them.

just avoid saying "i'm doing an adopt" anywhere but your server. (I'm slimeycat1 aka Endra) the next time you do that type of thing, because then there might be a slim chance that no one will try to Impersonate you. but that is if they don't find out I mean. >//w//< XP
