They did everything they were asked, the game is a success, and team that did all the work still got laid off. You look at that case and it's horrible, and it reminds you the game industry seems like that. But then you step back and nearly EVERYTHING feels like that. Nothing is enough for the suits.
So they basically released a whole team into the wild that can produce an exact replica of their game for competitors..? Hasbro could pick up the team and make βD&D Sortiesβ in about a year (w a smart CEO ofc)
