The worst part is half of these blogs just ctrl+c ctrl+v from each other and change a few words around. The number of medium articles/personal website blogs on tech/programming I've read that are virtually identical is incredible.
I wonder if we can come up with a better cost model:
Quality unbiased information is difficult to create
Sponsoring the creation of information creates bias
Information, once created, is low cost to distribute
Profiting on information distribution is counter-productive
