BREAKING: Republican Congressman Andy Biggs has introduced a bill to abolish OSHA.

The entire text of the bill reads "The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 is repealed. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is abolished."

Our company policy is that jewelry including wedding rings can’t be worn on the manufacturing floor. They want to do away with OSHA but some companies are pretty proud of their strenuous safety regulations and lack of injuries. Why pay for injuries when you can prevent them?

Prevention is great! And some companies will never “do the right thing” unless compelled by law and/or under punishment of fines & closures. OSHA exists bc of the least of companies, not the best, and that literally saves lives.
