Hey. Using the r word or the ending of the r word attached to whatever suffix for our enemies is still
1. Ableist in ways that HELP THEM
2. Repugnant
3. Telling disabled people like me exactly what you think of us
I do not care what your rationale is, it is wrong.

This isn’t “when they go low we go high”. This is “don’t fucking participate in the dehumanization of one of this regime’s targets. Or be that much of a fucking asshole.”
“Lol being an ironic Nazi to own the Nazis who actually approve”- some liberals
But I’m not sure it applies to all contexts you specify.
I did have a hard time parsing your post in the context of all the other posts I was seeing at the time.

Doesn't matter who it's aimed at, using it at all normalises it and shows that on some level they still see disability as something that can be used as an insult.
Same with calling people 'mentally ill'
Awful.
Even if that one person is using it positively or in a silly manner...
It's still weighted down by how nazis, assholes and shitty humans are using it.
It's tainted.
I had to block someone I liked interacting with until that argument was posted in reply to me stating I'd be blocking all r-word and r-word derivatives (eg libt*rd)
Urg...
Thankfully it wasn't someone I had invested much time in that I'd barely call an acquaintance but it's still super unpleasant.
