What it does not do is enforce itself. The ADA is simply standing to sue if conditions are not met.
We’ve been afraid to do that since the first term in case SCOTUS guts it.
It’s IMPORTANT precedent. Without the ADA, I could not have held my job or received equal access at the doctor’s office. But this relies on good faith application and the fear of suits.
